Bárbara Castro

With experience in the banking sector, she has held senior management positions in entities belonging to the financial and microfinance industry, such as the BBVA Group, Grupo FMBBVA and Intercorp. She has worked as a legal consultant in various Peruvian law firms providing advice on financial regulation and supervision of banks and microfinance entities, as well as in the design and evaluation of investment projects. Teaching staff in the Strategic Leadership course of the Post-Graduate School of the Universidad de Pacífico and the Faculty of Administration of the Universidad de Pacífico. Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Instituto Centroamericano de Administración de Empresas (INCAE) and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez of Chile, where she was awarded for academic excellence (High Honor). Lawyer graduated with honors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Peru with specialization studies in Corporate Finance and Microfinance from the Universidad de Pacífico.
